I'm not sure what to call the accessory that Link uses to fly but it's an awesome addition. It's a pretty fun piece to play around with. The handle also comes apart similar to how the shield does. It comes with the hook out stretched and not outstretched.
The DX comes with 4 pairs of hands - open hands, open hands with a peg for the bomb, fists, and hands for holding items: I'm pretty sure both versions come with the same two faces- smiling and determined. Here's a gif showing the steps to putting the sword and shield in his hands: (You can have him be left or right handed with the shield). The shield also comes apart in several places so he can hold it. The sword hilt does come off so you can easily place it in Link's hand. I honestly had so much fun with these accessories.īoth versions of Link come with his sword and shield (which are smaller than the versions that came with Skyward Sword Link fyi). Keep in mind two of pieces are behind the cardboard background in the box. On the one hand I like the idea of a DX version and a regular version since it gives people the option for a cheaper one with less accessories, but I think they should all be made available at other stores too.īut anyway, here he is with all the DX accessories. I know a lot of people were upset about the whole DX thing and I totally get it. So here he is next to Skyward Sword Link so you can see just how small and cute he is:
And to be quite honest, when I get my Twilight Link and Zelda, he just might end up being their kid (in my head anyway). But I love him because he's just so darn adorable. The only Link/Zelda game I've ever played is Twilight Princess so I'm not particularly attached to this version for any kind of sentimental reason. I meant to get a review up sooner, but honestly I've been having too much fun with him! I received my new Figma Link (A Link Between Worlds DX version) this past Friday.
